This course introduces the elements and principles of design through a series of hands‑on, problem‑solving projects in two‑dimensional composition. Students explore visual organization, balance, contrast, rhythm, and spatial relationships while developing technical skills and creative strategies for effective design. Through guided exercises, critique, and experimentation with a variety of media, students build a strong foundation in compositional decision‑making and visual communication.
