Continuation of MUS 126. Studies and performs a wide range of popular and jazz literature to develop musicianship. Auditions will be held.
Prerequisites
MUS 126 with a grade of “C” or higher
Student Learning Outcomes
- Show technical progress on the instrument by performing music appropriate for the skill level of the ensemble.
- Acquire an appropriate characteristic sound on instrument.
- Display proper jazz articulation.
- Develop improvisational skills in an appropriate jazz style.
