Gila Community College offers a variety of certificates and degrees that prepare students to enter the workforce and enable them to test for licensure. If a course enables a student to test for licensure, this will be indicated in the course outline or program description of their selected course of study. When choosing a course of study, students are encouraged to speak with an Academic Advisor.
External agencies and employers may set additional requirements for licensure, certification, or employment that are beyond those required by Gila Community College to enroll in a course or program of study. While Gila Community College attempts to provide students with all pertinent information prior to enrollment, it is ultimately the students responsibility for reviewing the current requirements for licensure, certification, employment, or transfer in their intended field of study.
Program and course completion does not guarantee eligibility for licensure, certification, credentialing, employment, transfer, or admission to another educational institution. Successful completion of coursework or a program does not guarantee passing any licensure or certification examination, obtaining a license or credential, or securing employment.
Please refer to the College Catalog and program information for current curriculum requirements and program-specific information.
