    1. Gain understanding of characteristics for effective leadership.
    2. Gain understanding of the role of policies, procedures. and paperwork in an effective organization.
    3. Demonstrate communication skills.
    4. Gain and understanding of the regulatory structure of Indian Gaming and the purpose for regulation.
    5. Using coaching, counseling, and mentoring to improve performance.
    6. Recognize the importance of meaningful expectations and effective evaluations in performance management and legal implications of subpar performance management processes.
    7. Gain an understanding of a team and how to build and lead a high-performance team.
    8. Gain an appreciation of the diverse individuals that make up a team.
    9. Recognize the importance of public speaking in leadership.
    10. Self-evaluate current skill level of public speaking abilities. Develop a plan for improvement.
