This course builds on what has been learned in MUS 225. This course prepares individuals to better master their instrument(s) as they perform a variety of musical genres and styles as solo and/or ensemble performers. 

Prerequisites

MUS 225 with a grade of “C” or higher

Student Learning Outcomes
  1. Master performance ability on one or more instruments.
  2. Identify multiple genres of music, i.e. March, Chorale, Waltz, etc.
  3. Perform multiple styles of music with appropriate articulation, rhythm and phrasing.
