This course is designed to introduce the student to the basic principles of project management in the construction, business, and technology fields.

          1. Describe the historical significance of project management and its importance to business.
          2. Describe the proactive management style and its importance to project managers.
          3. Identify the key elements required for an effective project management philosophy and system.
          4. Explain the advantages and disadvantages of the three organizational structures and their relationship to managing a project.
          5. Describe the five processes of the Project Life Cycle.
          6. Use a project managing app or software for inputting project schedule, tasks, and resources.
