Certificate of Proficiency

Electrical Fundamentals

20212

Advisors: Mark Andreason

The Electrical Fundamentals Certificate offers students the foundational skills required for success in electrical occupations. The curriculum covers the atomic structure of conductors, semiconductors, and insulators, as well as the theoretical principles governing electrical current. Additionally, the program addresses both direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) systems, their applications in accordance with code requirements, and introduces the principles of fluid power.
