This course builds upon the foundational knowledge and skills acquired in Module I and provides advanced training in the application of Arizona peace officer duties and responsibilities. Students develop proficiency in firearms, defensive tactics, emergency medical response, tactical driving, and active assailant response. Emphasis is placed on officer safety, critical decision-making, de-escalation, tactical problem solving, and the integration of legal, ethical, and operational principles in realistic law enforcement scenarios. Through classroom instruction, practical exercises, and proficiency-based training, students develop the competencies necessary to meet AZPOST standards and successfully complete academy certification requirements.
