This course classifies dental caries, examines early childhood caries, explains the role of saliva in tooth decay, articulates the CAMBRA goal, describes the prevalence of periodontal disease, identifies the two primary types of periodontal disease, and outlines the seven fundamental types of care.
Prerequisites
DAE 100 with a grade of “C” or higher or concurrent enrollment in DAE 100.
