This course introduces the theory, diagnosis, and repair of automotive brake systems. Topics include general braking principles, terminology, and functions related to automobile braking systems. Instruction emphasizes the correct operation and use of brake servicing equipment for both drum and disc brakes. The course also addresses anti-lock braking systems, hydraulic operation, and comprehensive brake system service, diagnosis, and repair.
