This course is designed to teach various types of scheduling and estimating methods. It also instills the importance of incorporating these concepts into the completion of a successful construction, business, or technological project.

Student Learning Outcomes
          1. Apply estimation techniques involved in project management.
          2. Define the most common causes of inaccurate estimates.
          3. Explain the different variance and index calculations used in Planned Value Decisions.
          4. Create a network diagram and calculate the “Critical Path.” Explain the “Critical Chain” method in contrast to “Critical Path.”
          5. Discuss the brief history of project management software and explain how a project may benefit from its use.
          6. Describe the process for identifying and calculating the risk events to a project.
