This course focuses on the application of Microsoft Excel. Students will explore financial and statistical modeling, including calculations, forecasting, projections, and graphing.
A prior introductory computer course is recommended.

1. File Management: Efficiently organize, store, and retrieve digital files and folders.
2. Getting Started with Excel: Navigate the Excel interface and create and open workbooks.
3. Formatting Data: Enhance data readability by applying number formats, fonts, borders, and conditional formatting.
4. Calculations: Construct formulas and utilize basic built-in functions, including SUM and AVERAGE.
5. Data Analysis: Employ advanced formulas to support data interpretation.
6. Chart Creation: Select appropriate chart types and create basic data visualizations.
7. Chart Enhancement: Apply advanced formatting techniques and add trendlines to charts.
8. Workbook Management: Sort, filter, group, and systematically organize data within workbooks.
9. Table Manipulation: Convert data into Excel Tables and use features such as filters and the Total Row.
10. PivotTables: Summarize and analyze large datasets using PivotTables.
11. What-If Analysis: Use tools such as Goal Seek and Scenario Manager to evaluate alternative outcomes.
12. File Sharing and Web Data: Collaborate on shared files and import data from web sources.
